Upcoming Alex the Brown exhibit: Obscura
Shot using documentary techniques, Obscura is a collection of photographs curated to convey an otherwordly narrative, with subjects often obscured or distorted using in-camera techniques. Denise Gallant: 45 Years of Video Synthesis (Sat, June 3rd at 7pm)
COAXIAL ARTS FOUNDATION welcomes award winning video artist and pioneer, Denise Gallant. This multimedia lecture and synth demonstration will represent 45 years of video effects by Denise, continually using the Synopsis Video Synthesizer, an early analog synth, designed by Rob Schafer and built by Denise Gallant.
