Join Mas Guerrero for her rescheduled display of 24 digital prints, a variety of sculptures, multiple channels of video poetry and a series of improvised musical performances. An overstimulating weekend dwelling in the “new-car-smell” shelter of instant gratification. Nothing grows here unless you fabricate it.
Content warning: this show contains strobes, loud sounds in extreme frequency ranges, artificial scents and depictions of fires.
Visible Spectrum will be open to the public February 7 – 9, 2025.
Mas Guerrero is a multimedia artist and musician. Her work mainly utilizes inkjet printers, egregious image compression, found objects, analog/digital synthesis, sound collage and generation loss. Her breadth of artmaking emphasizes the clutter of constant stimuli, memory, varying perceptions, imperfections of production and the slippery grasp of identity and safety while capitalism implodes on the poisoned soil.

This residency is supported by the Department of Cultural Affairs, Los Angeles, and the Mike Kelley Foundation.
