New creation by Franck Vigroux (live electronics), Ulrich Krieger (saxophone, pedal board.)
Franck Vigroux and Ulrich Krieger join forces together to present a new piece for electronics and amplified-processed saxophone.

French musician Franck Vigroux is a key figure of European electronic experimental music. Ulrich Krieger, a German musician based in L.A., is well known as a saxophone player in contemporary composed, free improvised and rock music as well as a composer of chamber and electronic music.

They will present a new work Dodécaèdre made of tectonic tensions, beats, electronic textures and a very personal approach to sonic exploration.

Naomi Mitchell is a designer, user, and educator of modular synthesizers. She designs and makes eurorack modules as omiindustriies and performs live under a variety of project names, most recently as Panic Hardware. Her work focuses on rhythm and randomness and the interaction between artist and electronics. She can be found @omiindustriies on social media and lives and works in Los Angeles.

Pauline Lay is an instrumentalist, composer, and events organizer in Los Angeles.

Dodécaèdre / the island has been made possible through Jazz & New Music, a program of Villa
Albertine and FACE Foundation, in partnership with the French Embassy in the United States with
support from the French Ministry of Culture, Institut français, SACEM (Société des auteurs,
compositeurs et éditeurs de musique) and the CNM (Centre National de la Musique).
