RICH GLITCH: An Analog Video Workshop with Anna Luisa Petrisko

RICH GLITCH
An Analog Video Workshop with Anna Luisa Petrisko

In this collaborative, interactive workshop we will journey through the realms of analog video mixing and graphics. Steered by our collective vision, we will use a vintage video mixer, live camera feed, custom Tachyons+ gear, and found footage to create new works of video art that you can use for all of your creative endeavors. We’ll also view and discuss historical video art examples through a feminist, POC, and queer lens. You’ll learn set-up and basics about signal flow, effects, transitions, cameras, and lighting. Bring your own found footage on physical media (VHS, DVD) and bring a flash drive to take home a digital file of your artwork.
